Aviva Holistics aims to offer affordable therapies to aid your physical and psychological wellbeing.

Aviva Holistics was founded in 2001 by Viv Cooper as a mobile complementary therapies service. Her idea for the company was to offer reasonably priced therapies to women in their own homes, so that they could maximise the benefits of the relaxing therapies.

After a break due, to parental responsibilities, Viv relaunched Aviva Holistics in January 2018. Whilst she still offers home visits she has now has the use of several therapy rooms:

Health and Tan Studio – Windsor Road, Prestwich, M25 0DB

Manchester Maccabi Community and Sports Club – Bury Old Road, Prestwich M25 0EG

Acuhealth – Washway Road, Sale, M33 7QZ

Each of these locations has parking available and all are within a short walking distance from either tram stations or major bus routes. Please let Viv know which venue you would like to use for your treatment.

Viv Cooper

Viv qualified from the Central Manchester College of Beauty and Complementary Therapies in 2001 with:

  • ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage
  • ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy
  • IIHHT Diploma in Holistic Therapies

Viv is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT) membership number 69664, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care under its Accredited Registers programme.

After Viv qualified she set up Aviva Holistics.  In 2002 Viv had a baby and found it difficult to balance motherhood with developing a new business. She opted to resume working as a customer services representative and found employment within a large financial institution. In December 2017 Viv took voluntary redundancy and used this opportunity to relaunch Aviva Holistics in January 2018.

Viv is currently also studying part-time for a Diploma in Adapting Complementary Therapies For Cancer Care. This course is run under the guidance of Manchester’s famous cancer care facility Christies Hospital.

In addition to her work for Aviva Holistics, Viv strongly believes in supporting the local community. She volunteers once a week providing complementary therapies to patients undergoing dialysis at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust’s Renal Department.

She has been invited to speak about Complementary Therapies to students and several local community events. If you are interested in engaging her services as a speaker please fill in the contact form here or ring her on 07968 175 076.
